The Department of Biology at The University of North Carolina at Greensboro (UNCG) invites applications for a tenure-track Assistant Professor position in Neurobiology and/or Neurotoxicology. We seek an outstanding individual who will develop a productive, externally funded research program and contribute to student instruction at all levels. Full participation is expected in our Biology undergraduate curriculum and Master program, and our broadly defined doctoral program in Environmental Health Science, which is directed at understanding environmental problems that directly or indirectly affect human health and well-being from the global to the molecular levels. The successful applicant will develop elective courses in Neurobiology or related fields and mentor undergraduate and graduate students. Potential synergies with faculty in our and other departments are desirable. Candidates must hold or anticipate a Doctorate in Biology or a related discipline when starting the position on August 1, 2018. Postdoctoral experience is preferred.
