Louisiana State University: Assistant Professor, Comparative/Integrative Physiology

The Department of Biological Sciences at Louisiana State University invites applications for a tenure-track position in Comparative or Integrative Physiology. All areas from molecular to organismic physiology will be considered, particularly those complementing existing strengths within the department (http://www.biology.lsu.edu). Required qualifications are a Ph.D. or equivalent degree in biological sciences or a related field, postdoctoral experience and a record of creative and significant research in any area of experimental physiology. The successful candidate will be expected to develop a vigorous, extramurally funded research program and contribute to undergraduate and graduate teaching. An offer of employment is contingent on a satisfactory pre-employment background check. Application review will begin on November 13, 2017 and continue until a candidate is selected.
